Singapore company formation gives you a stable, low-tax base in the heart of Asia-Pacific β common-law, globally banked, and backed by one of the world's widest treaty networks. Why establish here
Singapore offers distinct advantages for international businesses looking to establish or expand their operations in this jurisdiction.

Singapore consistently ranks among the world's easiest and most trusted places to do business, with a stable government, strong rule of law and deep, internationally connected banking.

Singapore company formation FAQs
Common questions about setting up and maintaining your international business
Yes. A Singapore company can be 100% foreign-owned, but foreigners cannot file the incorporation themselves β it must go through a registered filing agent such as us β and the company needs at least one director who is ordinarily resident in Singapore.
Founders who don't live in Singapore usually appoint a nominee resident director to meet the local director rule. Since June 2025, nominee director arrangements must be provided through an ACRA-registered corporate service provider, and the director's nominee status is shown on the company's public record.
Much less than the 17% headline rate. For example, a qualifying new company with S$100,000 of chargeable income in one of its first three years has 75% exempted under the start-up exemption, leaving S$25,000 taxed at 17% (S$4,250); the 50% rebate for YA 2025 or YA 2026 then reduces this to about S$2,125.
GST registration is compulsory once taxable supplies exceed S$1 million in a 12-month period, and voluntary registration is possible below that. The GST rate is 9%.
An annual return to ACRA, an Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) filing within three months of the financial year end unless exempt, and a corporate tax return (Form C-S or Form C) by 30 November. Small companies are usually exempt from audit but must still prepare financial statements.
